Massilly North America was founded in 1996 originally located in Mississauga, Ontario. We are a high-speed manufacturer of metal twist caps for the food and beverage industry. We supply our valued clients with quality products in North America. Since our move to Brantford, Ontario in 2012, we have significantly increased in size and we continue to grow,

In 2018, we were voted Company of the Year by the Brantford Chamber of Commerce, and we are proud to be recognized for our business achievements, including successful team development, automation and robotics innovations, a commitment to corporate citizenship, and our focus on customer and supplier relationships.

HR Coordinator

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the HR Coordinator is responsible for providing a variety of HR services to all departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried positions
  • Provide HR services to department supervisors and employees, including coaching and training
  • Coordinate and conduct onboarding/orientation activities
  • Plan and execute employee programs to support our culture (e.g. Surveys, Feedback Meetings, Training, Performance Appraisals, etc.)
  • Create/maintain documents, files, and databases (e.g. employment offers/agreements, job descriptions, training matrix, employee handbook, organization charts, HR forms)
  • Research HR-related policies, best practices, trends and legislation as needed
  • Provide HR data/information for management reporting and decision-making
  • Back-up support for the HR/Payroll Specialist

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as an HR Generalist/ Recruiter
  • Graduate of post-secondary HR program or advanced experience
  • Payroll experience would be considered an asset
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, methods and legislation
  • Intermediate English (verbal and written)
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to be highly professional and confidential

Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor oversees the operation of several high-speed production lines. Monitoring progress toward department goals, the Supervisor ensures the achievement of the highest levels of safety, quality, and productivity. This position, on average, oversees 15-18 team members and directly reports to the Production Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Direct production activities to meet process and product specifications, quality, and spoilage standards
  • Organize, monitor, and measure work performed within each department

  • Oversee and enforce safety rules and regulations designed to create and maintain a safe working environment
  • Establish and maintain positive employee relations
  • Prepare reports concerning production, quality, maintenance, safety, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Intermediate communication skills in English
  • Willing and able to work rotating shifts

Automated Packaging Operator

Our Production team is looking for an Automated Packaging Operator. In this role, you will be trained to operate and troubleshoot machinery on the production line assigned to you. Our Production Team Members report directly to the Production Supervisors.

Machine Operator

Our Production team is looking for experienced Machine Operators. In this role, you will be responsible for the continuous operation of your production line. You will maintain the equipment and the quality of the product you produce.

Forklift Driver- Night Shift (11 pm -7 am)

Massilly North America has been manufacturing metal packaging (lids) for the food industry for over 25 years. We are expanding and in need of a Forklift Operator. This position reports directly to the Production Supervisors.
